Tip#18: How to Assign a Barcode to an Item without creating a transaction

Have an item without a barcode in FR TRAC? You can quickly assign a barcode to one or multiple items in a size run using the mobile app, without creating a transaction. This is also a great way to assign barcoded bins or shelves to items.

• If you have a hardware scanner connected to your mobile app, the barcode icon below will bring up your scanner, otherwise the app will use your camera to scan a new barcode.

How to Assign a Barcode to an Item

Select the Inventory tab of your FR TRAC Mobile App. Tap the item in which you want to assign barcodes for. 

From the Item Profile, tap the Size Run tab, find the size for which you want to assign a barcode and tap the blue barcode icon associated with that size.
