Updating the Gmail Plugin

In 2023, Google released an update to Google Chrome. The new version has new protocols for how data is handled by the Gmail Plugin, requiring us to make adjustments to the code in the plugin. The most current version of the plugin is called "Front Rush Gmail Interactions" and was released on December 1, 2023.

The most up to date version is 2.8.16. 

Updating The Gmail Plugin - "Front Rush Gmail Interactions"

In order to use the Gmail Plugin, you will need to install the most recent version. The Google Plugin is a Google Chrome Extension that allows you to sync emails from recruits, student-athletes, alumni, and contacts to Front Rush. More details can be found below.

Remove The Old Plugin

The old plugin is no longer functional, and we have a brand new plugin!

1. Right Click on the Front Rush Gmail Plugin in the top right, and press 'Remove from Chrome...'

Download The NEW Plugin

1. Go the Gmail Plugin Page

2. Press 'Add To Chrome'

3. Confirm you want to add the Plugin to Chrome by pressing 'Add Extension'

4. You will see the plugin the top right of Google Chrome

. Log out of Gmail;

• If the plug is not working, you may need to log out of Gmail.

6. Log back into Gmail. When you are in Gmail, the plugin will now appear when you are clicked into an email!
